How to order Custom
Ordering a custom strap is easy and simply begins with your inquiry to us at: gayle@gaylewinde.com
Once we receive your email we'll get back to you promptly with a short list of questions regarding strap style, features, and your basic measurements with instructions on how to take them. When we receive your information back, a second email is sent to you to discuss leathers, graphics if any are desired, and any other specifications if need be. These steps all ensure the personalized fit and look you're searching for in your custom strap. This process may take a few emails back and forth and ends with a final review and estimated cost. We go over strap length, width, padding, lining, style type and any special requests you may have. Next you'll be sent via email, your PayPal invoice for your 50% deposit.
Once we receive your deposit, a sketch or sketches will be emailed to you for a visual of your design. We'll go over any changes or additions you may want to make at this point. You'll then receive a simple form for your final approval. You may cancel your special order up to this point with a refund of your deposit less $50.00 for graphics fee.
All of this may seem involved but it's really not, it gives us a chance to get know you a bit and visualize your style which all contributes to a fabulous strap for you! We can also discuss everything about your strap over the telephone if you prefer and then email your deposit invoice and go through the rest of the ordering process with you. You can reach us at the Studio @ 615-760-5440 Monday through Friday 9:00 am to 6:00 pm CST. If you call and we don't pick up it's more than likely we are midway into a design step and are unable to answer the telephone at that moment. If so, please leave a message and a number you would prefer us to call you at, and we'll return your call promptly.
Once we receive your emailed final approval form, work will begin on your order. Once work has started, no changes can be made and your deposit is non-refundable.
Each and every customer of ours has their own file established with spec notes and leather preferences, sketches, and all email exchanges. This provides a detailed foundation to work from if you decide further on down the line to order another custom strap. It's our tried and true system developed years ago for our clients. Life is busy and it's easy to forget wonderful ideas and specific details, so we'll keep track of these great ideas for you!
We're very flexible and every effort is made to make your custom order experience easy and pleasant. When all is said and done, you'll receive a custom strap that exactly fits your needs and the look you were after, one you'll be proud to wear!
