      Product Guarantee, Shipping and Return Information

 

Gayle Winde Custom Guitar and Bass straps are individually handcrafted at our private studio in the greater Nashville, TN area. We are extremely proud of our straps and fully guarantee all craftsmanship and materials used. Due to the nature of custom orders, "all sales are final".  However, if a product flaw is found, please notify us immediately by following the return instructions listed below.  All strap orders are carefully packaged and shipped by USPS Priority/Insured 2- 3 day delivery, or USPS Medium Flat Rate/Insured 2-3 day delivery.  All direct orders are shipped with full value insurance, which is added to your invoice total. If purchasing directly through the online store, it is highly recommended that the proper amount of shipping insurance be added to your order upon checkout. We encourage full value insurance since the USPS Indemnity Insurance only covers $50.00 in value for both Priority Mail - 2-3  delivery and Med. Flat Rate packages. In the event of shipping damage or loss, claims are filed with the USPS according to their requirements.

 

Important Information: **If an item needs to be returned for repair or replacement due to a manufacturing flaw, the strap must be returned in its "original delivery condition", packaged carefully in the "original shipping box, with the receipt of purchase included. Returned items must be insured at full value. The returned strap will be examined and repaired or replaced at our discretion, free of charge. Notification of a manufacturing flaw must be submitted via email within 3 days of the delivery date, and returned within 14 days of the delivery date. 

**Please Note:  If a returned order is found to be altered, worn, abused, improperly packaged, or uninsured, the item will be refused at the customer's expense.

 

                                    Our Leather and Exotics

 

Every guitar and bass strap created at Gayle Winde is made from genuine full-grain leather and authentic, exotic leather, if included in the chosen strap style. We carefully source and purchase our leather hides, exotic skins, and strap hardware from respected US suppliers. These suppliers purchase leather from Italy, Spain, Argentina, Australia, and numerous reputable tanneries around the world. Due to the nature of leather, natural variations can and do occur. These characteristics are not considered defective, but rather a part of the individual unique beauty of the leather itself. The diversity of leather that we use for our straps and mixed media makes them very distinctive works of art. Everything we create is made in-house, at our private Nashville Studio; our products are never outsourced, and every single item is designed and crafted with skill and great care. We are very proud of our artisan craftsmanship, materials used, and the distinctive beauty of our straps and leather art.

Website Photography: Every effort is made to provide accurate product representation on the website. However, computer monitors do vary, and some colors may be portrayed ever-so-slightly different. Very minor variance in color of an item occasionally can occur. Since every leather hide has subtle differences in characteristics and dye lots, we do our best to match the website photographs as closely as possible. If in question, please request a sample color swatch before purchase. 

 

                                  Ordering Information 

There are three options available for purchasing Gayle Winde Guitar & Bass Straps and Mixed Media Art. 

• Option One:  Ordering directly through the website online store.

• Option Two:  Calling the studio directly to order a strap or particular artwork.  Please note that paying for the item or items in two payments is available. A  50% nonrefundable initial deposit is required, with the balance paid before shipping.  Timeframes for final payment can be discussed and agreed upon between Gayle Winde and the purchasing party.

• Option Three:  Getting in touch with us directly by email, or using the website Contact Form. Please be specific about the item you are interested in and leave a telephone number and specific email address where you can be reached. We will get back to you promptly to discuss the item or items you are interested in. The payment options listed above in Option Two would apply if desired.

The Online Store:  Our online store features a selection of made-to-order custom Guitar and Bass straps and Mixed Media Art.  Each strap is described in detail, including materials used, strap options, and its cost. Each Mixed Media Artwork is also described in detail regarding the size, materials used, the title, and when it was created. All online store purchases are 100% secure, via the PayPal and Square payment gateways, and both payment options meet the new EU regulations. It is highly advised that full value insurance be added to your purchase; if chosen, it will be added to your checkout total.

             Customs Fees, Duty, & International Taxes

Customs Fees, Duty, and any International Taxes are not included in the final cost during checkout. These fees are separate and are the customer's responsibility upon delivery of their order. Since every country has individual regulations and policies, please be sure to inquire about regulations "before your purchase". We cannot be held responsible for additional charges beyond your website purchase, or for any customs delays due to procedures.​​
