Our Leathers

Every guitar and bass strap designed at Gayle Winde Studio is created from genuine full-grain leather and exotic leathers where applicable. We carefully source and purchase our leather hides, exotic skins, and strap hardware, from reputable suppliers. These suppliers purchase from Italy, Spain, Argentina, Australia, and numerous tanneries around the world. Due to the nature of leather, natural variations can and do occur. These characteristics are not considered defective, rather a part of the individual unique beauty of the leather itself. The diversity of leather that we use for our straps makes them very distinctive works of art. They are specifically designed around our customer's tastes, and many times customized to coordinate with their instruments.  Everything we create is made in-house, at our private Nashville Studio. There is absolutely no outsourcing of our products.  Every single strap is designed and handmade with great care and we are very proud of our artisan craftsmanship, materials used, and the distinctive beauty of our guitar straps.
Website Photography: Every effort is made to provide accurate views of our products on the website. However, computer monitors do vary and some colors may be portrayed ever-so-slightly different. A minor variance in color of the item you receive, vs the website photo, can occur. Since every leather hide has subtle differences in characteristics and dye lots, we do our best to match the website photographs as closely as possible. If in question, please request a sample color swatch prior to purchase.
